NYS Licensed Worker's Compensation Representative
Emily L. Downing
In the lobby of Lewis & Lewis's Buffalo office there is a picture of Abraham Lincoln next to his famous quotation: "A lawyer's time and advice are his stock in trade". I read and consider those words each time I see them.
After 10 years of practice in the areas of personal injury and Workers' Compensation law, I have seen first hand the devastating effects accidental injuries can have on individuals and their families. I recognize that, as a lawyer in this field, I need to be more than my client's voice in court. I need to be a willing listener and a compassionate aide, as well as, a zealous advocate.
I am proud to be a part of Lewis & Lewis, P.C., where I believe each of our attorneys takes Lincoln's words to heart. We understand the importance of meeting with our clients face to face, listening to their concerns, answering questions to their satisfaction and letting each person know that we are committed to their cause.
